Snowdrop Cottage is located near Okehampton and Hatherleigh. This delightful thatched cottage offers visitors an ideal base for exploring Dartmoor and is situated between the North Devon and South Devon coasts.
The standard of accommodation is very good and has all the character features including inglenook fireplace with bread oven, beams and deep windowsills.
Tarka Trail access is nearby for cyclists and walkers with riding, fishing, golf, tennis and watersports also in the vicinity. Excellent pubs and restaurants locally - Okehampton - 5 miles, Hatherleigh 4 miles, Exeter 25 miles. Eden Project, RHS Rosemoor and beaches within the hour.
Accommodation includes entrance into hall area leading to lounge/dining room with inglenook fireplace, oil fired woodburner effect fire, three piece suite and antique pine dining table and chairs, colour TV and video. Well equipped kitchen with fitted units, electric cooker, automatic washing machine/dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. Stairs to bedroom, one with pine double bed and pine furniture. Bedroom two with 4ft double bed. Bathroom/WC with pine panelled bath, shower attachment and stripped pine floorboards.
The pretty front garden has a lawned area bordered by shrubs, trees and flowers with garden furniture. Off road parking for one car to the front of the property.
The owner is an excellent cook and will provide meals from a menu if required.
