Buckland Abbey, Lydford Gorge and Cotehele are easily accessible, Plymouth's many amenities are 20 miles and the Eden Project, Tintagel and Bude's magnificent beaches are all about 45 minutes drive.
There are beautiful gardens to visit, Castle Drogo, Morwellham Quay, Okehampton Castle and Torquay, the shops in Tavistock, Barnstaple, Totnes, Buckfastleigh and Launceston and the lovely beaches and sands at Fowey, Bude, Newquay and Salcombe.
